Ever buy a clothing rack that just doesn't get it?
Too hard to set up?
Too many small pieces to keep track of?
Not strong enough to hold heavy garb?
Too unstable for windy days?
Too hard to break down?
A few years ago, a number of women commented that my tables and chairs were really nice, but what they really wanted was a clothing rack that they could set up in a hurry, wouldn't collapse under the weight of multiple Tudor gowns, and wouldn't tip over at the slightest breeze. I took it as a challenge to produce a clothing rack that wouldn't suffer from those faults. This is the result of my efforts. A clothing rack that has only 3 major parts (it also has two additional side hooks but they aren't required for it to work) so it's VERY easy to assemble. It's solid enough for me (at over 200 lbs) to do pull ups on, so it'll handle the heaviest of garb. The 2 ft by 4 ft solid base is wide enough and can be drilled for stakes to provide even greater stability.
